Project Competition 2017
The idea of the project is to design a “double contrast” building: the preserved external brick façade with its “regular rhythm” and a “free form interior universe”, a “fluid and tactile landscape” that envelops the internal circulations and common areas of the entrance and atrium spaces.
This internal “cave” becomes a real meeting place for human interaction, where borders and edges between furniture, architecture and decorative elements are erased and give way to ”total continuous” space, walls, floor and ceiling animated by frescoes with arboreal and natural patterns merge into one flowing continuous movement, a dream space for children and adults alike.
